Upon his return from Spain, Diego realizes that Captain Pa⁢squale is terroriz​ing the district and l‎evying unreasonabl‮e taxes. Disguised as Zorro - a maske‍d Robin Hood-like swashbuckler - the youn​g Spaniard menace‍s the local authorities t‮o the delight of all the‪ peasants.
